Stonewall Alliance and Stonewall Sports Pittsburgh are excited to have elected Madison Baxter to the role of Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for the Stonewall Alliance.
Baxter joins the organization after participating in multiple sports including kickball, dodgeball, bowling and more.
“I joined the Stonewall family back in 2016 and never looked back! It has been sport after sport where I have been blessed with amazing friendships and a continuous growing chosen family! The world of Stonewall has helped me grow into the person I am now. It has allowed me to network with folks who have the same passion and vision and work alongside queer organizations throughout and around Pittsburgh. As the connections continue to grow, so has the want to create more and more within our community. With a background in youth programming with the YMCA youth department in my hometown, coaching gymnastics and other various sports to presently working with the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation; both professionally and personally to be very helpful during my time as the new DEI Chair of Stonewall Alliance.”
